Creative Extravaganza At Gaiety

Shimla, Mar 26 – After a long gap finally people of the city got an opportunity to experience a creative extravaganza in a form of an art exhibition organized by Charu Castle Foundation Ghaziabad in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh at the historic Gaiety Thater.

“Our Motto is always to melt down the cultural boundaries through art and hence here we are with yet another beautiful creation of young minds on exhibit from all across the globe”, says Kapoor V. Bhan, Chairman of Charu Castle Foundation.

Paintings of students from nursery to college level have been showcased in this exhibition based on the theme of religion, Child labor, Beti bachao, and women abuse to name some. Other than that there are also paintings on religion, drug menace, pollution, the environment, and many more. The main highlight is the rainbow work done on various themes specially created at Varanasi Ghats, Taj Mahal, Ganges, Ganga Aarti, God and Goddess, he added.

More than 22 thousand students from 15 countries including India, Philippines, Latvia, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Dubai (UAE), Malaysia, Romania, Korea, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Poland have displayed their work in this three days exhibition.

 

Interested youth and educational institutions can send their paintings to our institution throughout the year and can participate in international competitions. Training camps for girls and art teachers are also organized by the organization from time to time, V Bhan shares.

Vikramaditya Singh, Youth and Sports Welfare Minister, Himachal Pradesh have also appreciated the work of the Charu Castle foundation, which has been continuously working for the last two decades in the field of Art and Culture and highlighting the name of Uttar Pradesh on the world platform. He further mentioned these kinds of activities not only bring out the creativity of students but also take them closer to the Culture. He also saw the exhibition and applauded the work done by the students.

On this occasion Kapur Vir Bhan, Chairman of Charu Castle foundation, also shared his future vision of work for the welfare of students and for the promotion of Art and Culture. He further mentioned that cultural activities need attention and emphasized their importance in the current scenario. He also informed me that in the upcoming days, a similar camp is going to be organized in Shimla as well.
