Congress Leader Lata Devi Re-Elected Baloh Panchayat Pradhan with Massive Margin

Hamirpur, May 30: Senior Congress leader Lata Devi has been re-elected as Pradhan of Baloh Gram Panchayat for a second consecutive term, securing victory by a margin of 121 votes. The win is being seen as a strong endorsement of her grassroots connect and public service record.

Expressing gratitude to voters, Lata Devi thanked Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for policies aimed at strengthening Panchayati Raj institutions and empowering women at the grassroots level. She also acknowledged the support and guidance of her political advisor Sunil Sharma Bittu during the election campaign.

A seasoned political worker with nearly three decades of public service, Lata Devi began her political journey with the Youth Congress and has previously served as General Secretary of the District Congress Committee, Hamirpur. She has been actively associated with rural development, women’s empowerment and social welfare initiatives.

Reaffirming her commitment to public service, she said the holistic development of Baloh Panchayat and the welfare of its residents would remain her top priority.
