Cong Govt has become Govt of waiting: Dhumal

Hamirpur/Una (HP), Feb 6 – Senior BJP leader-cum-former HP Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal said on Sunday that the Congress party government in the state has become a “government of waiting”.
He said in Una today that people were waiting for the fulfillment of the announcements of the Congress party but were unable to see those.
Dhumal said,”Whatever the Congress announces, the public keeps waiting for it to be completed, whether it is the old pension scheme or 1500 per month should be promised to women, the public is waiting for all the promises”.
He claimed that in the coming time, the BJP will register a big victory on all four seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
“In 1984 when we had seven MLAs even the BJP had three Lok Sabha seats, after that in 1993 when BJP again had seven MLAs. Also in Himachal, BJP had won 3 Lok Sabha seats, this time BJP has 25 MLAs, so we are definitely heading towards a big victory in Himachal Pradesh by once again overthrowing the applecart of the Congress party with help of the people.”
Dhumal said the Congress party was a divided house and the repeated statements of its various leaders proved this allegation of the BJP.
He said on another hand, the BJP was a united house and all of its workers and leaders were working for strengthening the party under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who had become an icon of power in the world.
