Chamba Administration Seeks Information on Locals Out of Contact

Chamba, August 27: In view of the natural disaster reported in Nepal, the Chamba district administration has appealed to the public to provide information about local residents who were in Nepal at the time of the incident and have remained out of contact with their families.
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal urged residents to share details of any family member, relative or acquaintance from Chamba who may have been in Nepal and whose whereabouts are currently unknown. The information should include the person’s name, mobile number, place of stay in Nepal and any other available details.
He said the information received would be shared with the concerned authorities to facilitate coordination and extend all possible assistance to affected persons and their families.
The Deputy Commissioner also appealed to the public to provide only accurate and verified information to the district administration to ensure effective coordination and timely assistance.
