CDOE, Shoolini Univ to Confer Degrees on 1,047 Graduates at Second Convocation on Saturday

The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Shoolini University, will hold its Second Convocation on Saturday, September 12, at the university campus in Solan, where 1,047 graduates from two MBA batches, MA English Literature, B.Com (Honours) and BBA will be awarded their degrees.
Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur will be the Chief Guest, while Kewal Singh Pathania, MLA, Shahpur, and Vinod Sultanpuri, MLA, Kasauli, will be the Guests of Honour. Director of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, Suneeta Singh, will be the Distinguished Guest.
The ceremony will also recognise academic excellence, with four Gold Medals and five certificates of merit to be presented to outstanding students from the MBA, MA English Literature, B.Com (Honours) and BBA programmes.
The convocation will mark an important milestone in CDOE’s journey since its establishment in 2022. It will bring together graduating students, university leadership, faculty members and distinguished guests to celebrate the academic achievements of the graduating batches.
Speaking ahead of the convocation, President, Innovation and AI, Shoolini University, Ashish Khosla, said CDOE had emerged as a growing platform for flexible and technology-enabled higher education, with a learner community of more than 20,000 students from across India and beyond.
Prof Khosla said the Centre’s diverse learner community included working professionals, entrepreneurs, homemakers, teachers, first-generation learners, IAS officers and senior corporate executives, reflecting the growing demand for flexible and accessible higher education.
“CDOE is committed to making higher education more accessible, flexible and relevant to the changing needs of learners and the world of work. Our focus will remain on combining technology, academic support and industry orientation to create meaningful learning opportunities for students across geographies,” Prof Khosla said.
CDOE offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through online and distance learning modes, including BCA, BBA, B.Com (Honours), MBA, MCA, MA English Literature, M.Sc. Data Science and MA Journalism and Mass Communication through online mode, along with B.A. through the distance learning mode.
