CBSE Conducts Two-Day English Core Secondary Level Workshop at St. Thomas’ School, Shimla

Shimla, July 8, 2025 – A two-day workshop on English Core at the secondary level was organized by CBSE on 7-8 July at St. Thomas’ School, Shimla. The workshop aimed to equip teachers with simplified methods of teaching English grammar and language while integrating technology. Senior English Teacher Ravi Sharma from Army Public School, Dagshai, and Mrs. Jyotsna, TGT SST from GMSSS, Chandigarh, acted as key resource persons. Principal Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty and Vice-Principal Mrs. Sharon Nanda inaugurated the event. A total of 49 teachers from Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Haryana participated. Earlier, an Environmental Studies workshop was held on July 5 with 59 teachers attending.
