BJP to Hold Workshop in Shimla on June 5 to Strategize Upcoming Campaigns: Trilok Kapoor
1 min readShimla | 30 May 2025 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a series of upcoming programmes to mark significant national occasions and milestones, including 11 years of the Modi government, World Environment Day (June 5), International Yoga Day (June 21), Shaheed Diwas of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee (June 23), and the 50th anniversary of the Emergency (June 25).
Addressing the media, BJP State General Secretary Trilok Kapoor informed that a workshop will be held at the party headquarters in Deep Kamal, Shimla, on June 5 at 10 AM to prepare for these events. The workshop will be attended by State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, and State General Secretary (Organisation) Siddharthan, who will provide key guidance.
To ensure smooth execution, two committees have been formed. Trilok Kapoor will coordinate state-level events related to Environment Day, Yoga Day, Mookerjee Balidan Diwas, and the Emergency anniversary. He will be supported by Sumit Sharma (Hamirpur), Manish Chauhan (Shimla), Sanjay Thakur (Mandi), and Vinay Sharma (Kangra) as parliamentary co-coordinators.
For the ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ campaign, celebrating 11 years of Modi-led governance, Rajya Sabha MP and State General Secretary Dr. Sikander Kumar has been appointed as state convenor. He will be assisted by MLA and State VP Pawan Kajal (Kangra), State Secretary DG Thakur (Shimla), State Secretary Rajesh Thakur (Hamirpur), and BJYM State President Tilak Raj Sharma (Mandi).
Kapoor said the June 5 workshop is expected to be attended by all convenors, co-convenors, full-time workers, and district-level teams involved in organizing the programmes.
