BJP State President Rajeev Bindal Hails Union Budget as ‘People’s Budget

Shimla, February 7: BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal has termed the Union Budget as a “Budget of Aspirations”, stating that it fulfills the dreams of 140 crore Indians. He emphasized that the budget will drive India’s development and open up new sectors for youth employment, benefiting government employees, private sector workers, small shopkeepers, and industrialists in Himachal Pradesh.
Calling the budget a “force multiplier”, Bindal highlighted its potential to boost savings, investments, consumption, and overall economic growth. He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a pro-people and development-oriented budget.
Dr. Bindal particularly praised the decision to grant infrastructure status to shipbuilding, which he said will boost the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and generate large-scale employment. He also welcomed major reforms in civil nuclear energy, which he believes will play a significant role in the country’s future development.
Further, he noted that tourism infrastructure has received a major push, with hotels at 50 key destinations now included under infrastructure status. This, he said, will enhance tourism potential and create new opportunities in states like Himachal Pradesh.
