Awareness Rally Held in Haroli Under Drug-Free India Campaign
Una, October 8: An awareness rally and sports competition were organised at Government Senior Secondary School, Haroli, under the Drug-Free India Campaign by the District Welfare Officer, Una, in association with the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
Students from Classes 9 to 12 participated in the programme and spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free and healthy society. They also pledged to stay away from drugs and promote awareness among their families, schools and communities.
District Welfare Officer Awas Pandit said the initiative aimed to educate young people about the adverse effects of substance abuse and encourage them to adopt healthy lifestyles through sports and other positive activities.
