Anurag Thakur Welcomes Centre’s Decision to Form Committee on Natural Disasters in Himachal

Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur lauded Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s decision to constitute a multi-disciplinary central team to study recurring natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh. The committee will include experts from NDMA, CBRI Roorkee, IITM Pune, IIT Indore, and geologists to assess the rising frequency of cloudbursts, floods, and landslides. Thakur also criticized the opposition for avoiding discussions in the Parliament, calling it a habitual escape.
