Anti-Drug Street Plays to Feature at International Minjar Fair 2026

Special street plays promoting the anti-drug campaign will be staged during the International Minjar Fair 2026 in Chamba to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal said while reviewing preparations for the event. The performances will be presented by students of Government College Chamba and trainee doctors from Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College. A large LED screen will also be installed at the New Bus Stand to broadcast public awareness messages. Officials have been directed to ensure timely arrangements for water, power, healthcare, sanitation, traffic, parking and other essential facilities ahead of the fair.
