All Buses Now Mandated to Pass Through Theog Bus Stand: DC
Shimla, September 20, 2025:
District Magistrate Shimla, Anupam Kashyap, has issued a notification under Section 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, making it mandatory for all Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) and private buses to pass through and operate via Theog Bus Stand.
The decision, taken in public interest, aims to provide passengers with better waiting facilities, safer boarding and deboarding options, and improved traffic management in the area.
