AIIMS Bathinda: Game Changer in Healthcare for Punjab & Rajasthan — Anurag

On July 20, 2025, Member of Parliament and AIIMS Governing Body Member Anurag Singh Thakur visited AIIMS Bathinda, calling it a “milestone in India’s healthcare journey.” He reviewed administrative operations with President Anil Gupta and Executive Director Prof. Meenu Singh and also led a tree plantation drive under “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.”
Thakur highlighted how AIIMS Bathinda has become a boon for lakhs in Punjab and Rajasthan, citing over 3 lakh OPDs and 30,000 IPDs annually. He praised PM Modi’s leadership, under which India now has 26 operational and upcoming AIIMS, transforming healthcare from affordability to quality. He noted that Bathinda AIIMS is offering not just treatment but wellness, with even night-stay facilities for attendants.
