Congress Government Ensuring Quality Education in Himachal: Rajeev Rana
Hamirpur, January 9, 2025: Rajeev Rana, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Labour and Employees Congress, emphasized the state government’s commitment to providing quality education at the annual prize distribution ceremony at Government Senior Secondary School, Bagwara.
He highlighted the establishment of the Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding School in Bhornaj constituency, built at a cost of ₹150 crore. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s “Mukhyamantri Sukh Shiksha Yojana” offers ₹1000 monthly assistance to children of single women, widows, and disabled individuals. Scholarships from the Labour Welfare Board for registered beneficiaries’ children and increased incentives for medal-winning sportspersons were also acknowledged.
