Himaral’s Critique of PM Modi:
Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Himachal, Himral launched a scathing attack, accusing Modi of neglecting the state during natural disasters. He highlighted that despite Modi frequently referring to Himachal as his “second home,” the Prime Minister failed to provide adequate support during recent calamities. Himral pointed out that CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, despite financial constraints, managed to establish a disaster relief fund of ₹4500 crore, showcasing the Congress’s commitment to the state’s welfare.
Himaral expressed confidence that the voters are well aware of who genuinely works for their benefit. He suggested that the upcoming elections will reflect this understanding. The Congress’s top leaders are expected to drive home their message and mobilize support through these rallies, aiming for a strong showing in the forthcoming elections.
