BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal lashed out at the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government, accusing it of deceiving unemployed youth through the newly introduced Job Trainee Scheme. Terming it a “trap to silence the youth,” he alleged the policy is a one-year lifeline for the government to escape the real employment crisis.
Bindal referred to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s pre-election video promising 58-year permanent jobs—not on contract or outsourcing—but said the government has failed miserably. He alleged that jobs are being reserved only for friends of those in power, with exam results delayed or cancelled and recruitment bodies shut down.
He claimed that even under the new policy, trainees will undergo exams twice, get no medical benefits, and have unclear appointment authorities. “This is nothing but a cruel joke on Himachali youth,” he said, calling the scheme a failure with no execution formula.
