2302 Polling Stations set up in 13 Development Blocks in Shimla District

Shimla, Jan 12 – 2302 polling stations have been set up for the election of Panchayat Raj Institutions in all the 13 development blocks in Shimla district informed District Election Officer (Panchayat) and Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi told here today.
153 polling stations have been declared highly sensitive and 476 as sensitive whereas 1673 polling stations have been declared normal. He called upon the people of Shimla district to ensure their increased participation in elections to Panchayati Raj Institutions and strengthen democracy.
