Webinar on commodity derivatives held

Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) of India Ltd, a commodity exchange conducted a webinar for the students of the School of Business Management, Shoolini University on commodity derivatives through virtual mode.

Assistant Vice President, Shrikant Koundinya, who has 25 years of diverse experience in finance and capital markets, was the guest speaker for the webinar. He introduced students to the world of commodities and their importance in the world economy and highlighted the risk management aspects of derivatives.

He also shared about the opportunities available in the commodity exchange and how students can prepare themselves to be ready for the opportunities. Prof. Kuldeep Chand Rojhe, Director, MBA Programme conveyed the vote of thanks and also stressed the importance of these webinars for the management students.

He also invited MCX for MoUs with Shoolini University to further develop the awareness in the context of Management Development Programs, Research Conferences, and development of Course Curriculum specifically targeting the commodities.
