206 candidates file nomination on Friday

Shimla, Oct 21 – The process of filing the nominations by the candidates for the ensuing Vidhan Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh is underway and on the fifth day of the nominations, a total of around 206 candidates filed their nominations in different districts of the state today, stated by Maneesh Garg, Chief Electoral Officer here today.
In Mandi district, from Karsog (SC) AC, Deep Raj (34) s/o Sunder Lal filed a nomination from BJP, Chaman Lal (55) s/o Bahadur Singh from BSP, Yuv Raj Kapoor (35) s/o Puran Chand as an Independent candidate, Mahesh Raj (51) s/o Mansa Ram from INC, while Bhagwant Singh (57) s/o Karam Das filed his nomination from Aam Aadmi Party.
In Dharampur, Rajat Thakur(45) s/o Mahender Singh from BJP, in Sarkaghat AC, Munish Sharma (38) s/o Gurudatt Sharma as an Independent candidate.
In Mandi AC, Anil Sharma (66) s/o late Sukh Ram from BJP, Champa Thakur (48) w/o Joginder Singh from INC, while Chet Ram (49) s/o Premu Ram from BSP.
In Sundernagar AC, Narayan Singh (35) s/o Roop Chand from BSP, Abhishek Thakur (47) s/o Roop Singh as Independent candidate, while Rakesh Kumar (48) s/o Hardayal filed his nomination from BJP.
In Jogindernagar AC, Kamal Kant (48) s/o Yogender Pal and Surender Singh Thakur (64) s/o Sant Singh Thakur, Kulbhushan Thakur (42) s/o Ranjeet Singh, Baba Lal Giri (74) s/o Mahant Santa Nand Giri Independent, Mehar Chand (67) s/o Kalu Ram filed their nominations as Independent candidates. Thakur Surender Pal (62) s/o Bhag Singh filed his nomination from INC, while Prakash (60) s/o Prem Kumar filed his nomination as BJP candidate.
In Kangra district, from Nagrota AC, Arun Kumar (58) s/o Late Sh Atma Ram filed his nomination as BJP candidate, while R.S.Bali(43) s/o late G.S.Bali from INC.
In Kangra AC, Amit Verma (45) s/o Harbans Lal Verma as Independent candidate.
In Shashpur AC, Sarveen Chaudhary (56) w/o Pawam Kumar from BJP, Ramesh Kumar (33) s/o Ratan Chand as Independent candidate, Banarsi Dass Dogra (61) s/o Fangan Ram from BSP, Kewal Singh Pathania (53) s/o Karam Sinigh from INC.
