1k employees don’t get postal ballot in Himachal

Shimla, Nov 30 – More than 1,000 government employees in Himachal Pradesh have told Chief Electoral Officer Manish Garg that they have not received postal ballots.
A spokesman for the election department confirmed getting the complainants from employees who are deputed for polling and election duty.
“We have ordered action against the errant officials as complaints from all over the state of missing postal ballots are pouring in,” an official said.
“We are expecting that most servicemen and paramilitary personnel will send back their postal ballots before December 8,” he added.
There are 412 candidates in the fray. There are 55,92,828 voters in the state.
