Tiny Tots Celebrate Grandparents’ Day at Dayanand Public School
Shimla, Oct 23: Dayanand Public School, Shimla, organised a vibrant Grandparents’ Day celebration for its nursery students, bringing together children, grandparents and parents for a day of music, dance and fun-filled activities.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Anupama, who welcomed the guests and presented the school’s annual report, highlighting its achievements and activities throughout the year.
The little ones entertained the audience with welcome songs, rhymes, English songs and dance performances. A lively Punjabi dance added to the festive spirit, drawing applause from the gathering.
Special games, including “Guess the Music” and an acting activity, were organised for grandparents, encouraging enthusiastic participation. The highlight of the event was a grand ramp walk featuring children with their grandparents, with matching outfits adding charm to the celebration.
The principal appreciated the children’s talent and confidence and thanked grandparents and parents for their participation and support. The celebration highlighted the affection and strong bond shared between generations.
