Auckland House School for Girls, Junior Section, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and spirited participation on Friday, 20th June, 2025. The event was graced by Mrs. Deepika Chauhan, Principal of St. Mary’s School, Chakkar, Shimla, as the Chief Guest.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome extended to the Chief Guest, followed by a vibrant display of aerobics and gymnastics by the young students. Various races and fun-filled competitions were held throughout the day, including the Flag Race, Pinwheel Race, Pom-Pom Race, Caterpillar Race, Banana Balance, Basketball Match, Skating, Musical Chair, and several other creative activities like Pack Your Bag, Dressing Up, Lemon and Spoon Race, and Magic Touch.
Students from Nursery to Form III enthusiastically participated in each event, showcasing their physical agility, coordination, and team spirit. Events like Fetch and Run, Carry the Baton added cheer and excitement to the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Chauhan appreciated the efforts of the school in promoting physical education and the holistic development of students. She congratulated all participants and encouraged them to always give their best with sportsmanlike spirit.
The Principal of Auckland House School for Girls thanked the Chief Guest for her inspiring presence and expressed pride in the enthusiastic participation and achievements of the students. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and a vote of thanks.
