Suspicious Death in Khyuri Village: Youth Found with Syringe, Overdose Suspected

Mandi, February 3, 2025 – A youth was found dead under suspicious circumstances near Radha Swami Satsang Bhavan in Khyuri village, Balh subdivision. The police recovered a syringe from the deceased’s hand, raising suspicions that the cause of death might be a drug overdose. Along with the body, a bag, empty bottle, and other narcotic substances were seized.
The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Ajay Kumar from Reegad village (Rajgarh). The body was discovered by a local who notified the Panchayat head, Hansraj, who then informed the authorities. The police arrived at the scene under the leadership of Station House Officer Karan Singh, where the young man was found dead.
The police have sent the samples to the forensic lab for analysis, and further investigation is ongoing. The cause of death will be determined after the investigation.
