PM SHRI Students Visit Lucknow, Ayodhya

Shimla, Sept. 22: As part of an initiative under Samagra Shiksha, 90 students from PM SHRI schools in Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur and Kinnaur are on a four-day visit to Lucknow and Ayodhya.

The students travelled from Chandigarh to Lucknow by air and visited the Zoological Garden and Science City. The itinerary includes visits to Rumi Darwaza, Bara Imambara, a local PM SHRI school, Anandi Magic World and a handicrafts centre.

The students will later travel to Ayodhya to visit Ram Janmabhoomi and explore the region’s historical and cultural heritage.

This is the third batch under the programme. Earlier, 84 students from Una, Chamba, Hamirpur and Bilaspur, followed by 112 students from Mandi, Kullu and Kangra, visited Lucknow and Ayodhya. With the latest group, 286 PM SHRI students have been covered under the initiative.
