Land to Be Provided Soon for NCB Zonal Office in Shimla
Shimla, September 18, 2026: Additional Director General, Ministry of Home Affairs, Raj Kumar and NCB Regional Director Amanjeet Singh met Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap and discussed efforts under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
The officials briefed the DC on initiatives to strengthen awareness and action against drug abuse. Kashyap highlighted the district administration’s efforts, including visits by officers to adopted schools to sensitise students against drug abuse.
The NCB officials requested early allotment of land for establishing a zonal office in Shimla. The DC assured them of early positive action and full administrative support for implementing the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in the district.
