Young Professionals Roundtable Held in Solan on Building Future-Ready Workforce
Solan, September 18, 2026: Public Policy India (PPI) and L.R. Group of Institutes, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and MY Bharat, organised the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 – Young Professionals Roundtable in Solan.
Held on the theme “Building a Future-Ready Workforce for Viksit Bharat,” the roundtable brought together students, educators, entrepreneurs and youth representatives to discuss future skills, innovation and the education-employment gap.
Viraaj Sood, presenter at VBYLD 2026, called for community skill labs, village skill banks and future skill parks. Speakers including Dr. Kulbhushan Chandel, Ritika Singh, Yash Agarwal and Dr. (H.C.) Shachi Singh highlighted the importance of industry-aligned education, soft skills, ethical values, internships and lifelong learning.
An interactive Q&A session saw students engage with the speakers on grassroots upskilling and emerging workforce needs. The participants emphasised that a future-ready workforce requires not only technical skills but also judgement, empathy, integrity and adaptability.
