CM Sukh Ashray Scheme Benefits 399 Children in Una
Shimla Sept 10 : Under the Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Scheme, 399 eligible children in Una district have been provided benefits, with more than ₹4.99 crore spent so far.
The information was shared during the 22nd District-Level Monitoring and Review Meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal. The progress of various social welfare schemes, including Mission Shakti, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, CM Shagun Yojana, Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana, Mission Vatsalya and Poshan Abhiyan, was reviewed.
The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to ensure that welfare benefits reach every eligible person in a timely, transparent and effective manner, with special attention to vulnerable and needy sections of society.
He also directed officials to intensify awareness activities under Poshan Maah, focusing on nutrition and healthy lifestyles for children, adolescent girls, pregnant women and mothers.
