Prepare additional CSR proposals for aspirational blocks Tissa and Pangi: DC

Chamba, September 7: Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal directed SDMs and departmental officials to prepare proposals for additional development works under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the aspirational blocks of Tissa and Pangi.

The directions were issued during a meeting held at the NIC room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office to review CSR activities planned by central public sector undertakings for 2026-27 and 2027-28.

Repaswal asked officials to identify development needs in their respective areas and prepare practical, public-oriented proposals for submission to concerned institutions for CSR funding. He particularly directed the SDMs of Tissa and Pangi to explore additional projects so that maximum works could be sanctioned under CSR.

The Deputy Commissioner also directed officials to ensure that ongoing projects under the scheme are completed within the stipulated timelines and regularly monitored.

Priority areas for new proposals include education, healthcare, drinking water, sports, nutrition, water conservation and livelihood promotion. Proposals may also cover anganwadi buildings, toilets, drinking water facilities, smart TVs, boundary walls, child-friendly furniture, sports equipment, playground development, modern workshops and laboratories, smart classrooms and digital learning facilities.
