RSETI trains 29 people in mushroom cultivation

Hamirpur, September 7: Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Hamirpur, concluded a 10-day training programme on mushroom cultivation for residents of Karaha gram panchayat in Bhoranj subdivision on Monday.

A total of 29 participants received practical training in mushroom cultivation. PNB Loan Point Chief Manager Rajesh Kumar attended the concluding ceremony as the chief guest.

Rajesh Kumar said participants could take up mushroom cultivation on a larger scale even with limited space at home after completing the training. He added that RSETI could also assist them in obtaining bank loans and encouraged them to avail themselves of various government subsidy and loan schemes.

RSETI Director Ajay Kumar Katna welcomed the chief guest and participants and briefed them about the institute’s activities and achievements.
