Hamirpur, August 27: The NEET-PG examination for admission to MD, MS and other postgraduate medical degree and diploma courses will be conducted online across the country on August 30, with three examination centres designated in Hamirpur district.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Garg reviewed the arrangements for the examination during a meeting with administrative and police officials, concerned officers and principals of the three examination centres on Wednesday evening.

The examination centres in the district have been established at Nalanda College of Education, Jhanyari; New Gurukul Public Senior Secondary School, Gopal Nagar, Pakka Bharoh; and Seven Star International School, Bani, Barsar. The examination is being conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) through TCS.

The ADC directed the principals of all three centres to ensure strict compliance with the guidelines issued by NBEMS and make all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination. He also directed the SDMs of Hamirpur and Barsar and the concerned police authorities to ensure adequate security and other arrangements around the examination centres.

The examination will be held from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, while entry of candidates at the examination centres will begin from 7:00 am. This will allow sufficient time for security checks and other pre-examination formalities.
