War-Disabled Ex-Servicemen Urged to Obtain Disability Identity Cards

Hamirpur, August 24: The District Sainik Welfare Department has urged ex-servicemen who sustained disabilities during wars, military operations or while performing official duties to obtain their War Disability Identity Cards.

Deputy Director Sainik Welfare, Squadron Leader (Retd.) Manoj Rana, said several eligible ex-servicemen in the district have yet to obtain the identity card. Those who have already been issued the card need not apply again.

Eligible ex-servicemen can visit the District Sainik Welfare Office with their military service records, discharge book, PPO, medical board and disability-related documents, along with other required papers, to complete the registration and card issuance process.
