Independence Day Celebrated with Patriotic Spirit at Kullu Convent Schools

Kullu, August 15, 2026: Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit and fervour at Kullu Convent School, Dhalpur, Kullu Convent Senior Secondary School, Dhalpur, and Kullu Convent Senior Secondary School, Mohal.

Various cultural and creative activities were organised across all three schools. Students actively participated in patriotic songs, dance performances, speeches and other cultural presentations, highlighting the significance of Independence Day.

The programmes also sensitised students about the sacrifices of freedom fighters, national unity and integrity, and the responsibilities of being responsible citizens.

On the occasion, Managing Director Suresh Kumar and Administrator Ritu Suresh Kumar extended Independence Day greetings to students, teachers and parents. They emphasised that freedom represents not only rights but also duties and responsibilities, and encouraged students to uphold discipline, honesty, hard work, mutual respect and brotherhood.

They further said that patriotism should not remain limited to national celebrations but should be reflected in one’s thoughts, behaviour and actions. The celebrations concluded with a collective pledge to contribute towards the unity, integrity and prosperity of the nation.
