LR Group of Institutes Hosts State-Level Environment Conclave and Himachal Climate Action Awards 2026

Solan, August 14, 2026: LR Group of Institutes, Solan, and LLR Educational Trust organised the state-level “Environment Conclave and Himachal Climate Action Awards 2026” under the LiFE – Lifestyle for Environment initiative.

The event brought together students, educators, experts, startups and environmental organisations to promote climate action, sustainable development, green innovation and public participation. Students from schools and colleges across Himachal Pradesh presented their ideas, research and innovations on climate change and environmental conservation.

Dr. Harminder Singh Bawaja, Vice Chancellor of Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, was the chief guest, while Yogesh Aindley, Board Member, School of Inspired Leadership, attended as the special guest. They encouraged students to develop leadership skills, adopt innovative thinking and actively contribute to environmental and social causes.

The event featured expert talks, panel discussions, research paper presentations, oral presentations, e-posters and an exhibition showcasing eco-friendly products and environmental innovations. Outstanding student participants were also recognised with cash prizes and certificates.

The Himachal Climate Action Awards 2026 highlighted notable contributions towards environmental protection and climate action. The programme concluded with the message: “Innovate for the Environment. Inspire Sustainable Change.”
