Himachal Swimmers Put Up Strong Show at 42nd Sub-Junior National Swimming Championship

Bilaspur: Himachal Pradesh swimmers delivered an impressive performance at the 42nd Sub-Junior National Swimming Championship held in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Himachal Pradesh Swimming Association State General Secretary Ishan Akhtar said the state team, comprising Trijal Chauhan, Riddhant Mandhotra, Anvi Sharma and Shivangi Dhiman, represented Himachal Pradesh with commendable performances across various events.

Trijal Chauhan competed in the 50-metre freestyle, 100-metre freestyle and 50-metre butterfly stroke events. Riddhant Mandhotra participated in the 50-metre breaststroke, while Anvi Sharma competed in the 50-metre freestyle. Shivangi Dhiman represented the state in the 50-metre backstroke event.

Ishan Akhtar said the participation of the young swimmers at the national-level championship was an important opportunity for them to gain competitive experience and showcase their talent.

He added that the swimmers will be accorded a grand welcome at the state association office in Bilaspur upon their return to Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Swimming Association President Vinay Dhiman congratulated all the players for their performance and wished them success in their future competitions.
