Water Power Department to Recruit 4,000 Staff This Financial Year: Deputy CM

Una | July 25, 2026: Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri announced that around 4,000 posts will be filled in the Jal Shakti Department during the current financial year to strengthen manpower and improve public services. Addressing a departmental workshop in Haroli, he also said the government will implement a ₹2,000 crore plan to modernise water purification systems across the state and confirmed that employee welfare decisions and annual awards for outstanding staff will be introduced.
