Chamba Pushes Youth Registration Drive on MY Bharat Portal

The Chamba district administration has intensified efforts to maximize youth registration on the MY Bharat Portal, with Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal directing all departments to work in close coordination to ensure greater participation.
Chairing a meeting of the District Advisory Committee, the Deputy Commissioner said the MY Bharat platform plays a vital role in connecting young people with nation-building initiatives. He instructed departments to conduct extensive awareness campaigns through schools, colleges, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), skill development centres, and other educational institutions so that every eligible youth is informed about the registration drive.
Repswal emphasized that all departments should work together to achieve the registration targets within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring that no eligible young person in the district is left out.
District Youth Officer Rahul Garg briefed the committee on the objectives and functioning of the MY Bharat Portal. He said the platform provides opportunities for youth to participate in volunteer activities, skill development programmes, leadership initiatives, social service, and various government schemes and programmes.
He urged all departments to strengthen awareness campaigns at their respective levels and encourage maximum registrations to make the district’s intensive registration drive a success.
