Govt. committed to provide transparent and efficient public services: CM

While presiding over a meeting of Digital Technology and Governance department here today, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu reviewed the progress of Chief Minister Dashboard, an online platform developed to monitor the projects and schemes of various departments.
The Chief Minister reviewed the programmes of Horticulture department that are being finalized for integration into the digital platform. He stated that other departments would also identify and finalize their flagship programmes in the coming times which would subsequently be brought on the dashboard for real time monitoring.
The Chief Minister said that during the past three and a half years, the present state government had introduced many initiatives to benefit the common people. He emphasized that benefits of these programmes must reach to every eligible person and added that the Chief Minister Dashboard would serve as an effective tool for monitoring the progress and implementation of various schemes.
He further stated that the state government was increasingly leveraging modern technology in the functioning of the government departments to enhance transparency, efficiency and service delivery thereby ensuring maximum benefits to the people of the State.
