Auckland House School Celebrates Community Spirit with Vibrant Annual Carnival

Shimla, May 30: The celebrations at Auckland House School continued with great enthusiasm as the school hosted its much-awaited Annual Carnival, bringing together students, parents, alumni and members of the wider school community for a day filled with fun, creativity and camaraderie.
The event was graced by Sachin Sharma, IAS (2022 Batch), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he appreciated the vibrant atmosphere of the carnival and commended the school for providing students with opportunities that go beyond academics. He lauded Auckland House School for nurturing creativity, confidence and social responsibility among young learners while preserving its rich traditions and values.
The school campus transformed into a lively hub of activity with an exciting array of food stalls, games, art displays and entertainment zones. Visitors enjoyed a variety of attractions including mehndi and tattoo corners, handcrafted products, student artworks, souvenirs and interactive recreational activities. A lively jam session added to the festive mood, creating an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.
The carnival witnessed enthusiastic participation not only from students and parents but also from alumni and students of various schools from across the city, making it a true community event that strengthened bonds beyond the classroom.
Principal Smaraki Smantaray said that the Annual Carnival reflects the school’s commitment to holistic education by encouraging creativity, teamwork, entrepreneurship and community engagement. She noted that such events provide students with valuable opportunities to showcase their talents, develop leadership skills and learn through meaningful experiences outside the academic curriculum.
