Traffic Advisory Issued: NH-305 to Remain Closed Daily Afternoon

Kullu, : Sub Divisional Magistrate (Banjar) Pankaj Sharma has issued a traffic advisory for the NH-305 Banjar Aut Road due to ongoing patchwork and tarring.
As per the advisory, traffic will remain completely suspended from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, with only emergency vehicles allowed during this period. Normal traffic movement will resume after the restricted hours.
Vehicles will be diverted via the Banjar bypass to ensure smooth alternative connectivity. Authorities have been directed to install signboards and deploy police personnel for effective traffic management. Violators will face action under the Motor Vehicles Act.
The Public Works Department has also been instructed to make the bypass route fully motorable by May 3, 2026. The administration has urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate for timely completion of road works.
