Five Candidates File Nominations on Final Day for Rewalsar Nagar Panchayat Polls

Mandi, May 2, 2026: On the third and final day of the nomination process for ward member elections in Rewalsar Nagar Panchayat, five candidates filed their nomination papers.

Assistant Returning Officer Sanjay Vardhan informed that a total of 19 nominations have been received over the three-day period.

On the final day, nominations were filed by Leela Devi (Ward 2), Mahinder Pal and Tara Chand (Ward 4), and Labh Singh and Devender Kumar (Ward 7). No nominations were filed from Wards 1, 3, 5, and 6 on the last day.

Earlier, 6 nominations were received on the first day and 8 on the second day. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted on May 4 from 10 AM. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till 3 PM on May 6, after which election symbols will be allotted.

Polling will be held on May 17 from 7 AM to 3 PM.
