“BJP ready 365 days, will strongly counter anti-people policies”

Shimla:
Following the announcement of urban local body elections in Himachal Pradesh, BJP State Vice President Vipin Parmar launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, alleging that the ruling party had been attempting to delay these elections for the past three to four months. He said that with the election schedule now announced, the Bharatiya Janata Party welcomes and appreciates the decision.
Parmar stated that the BJP is a party that works among the people 365 days a year and is always prepared for elections. He asserted that BJP leaders and workers are fully geared up to contest these urban local body elections with strength and commitment. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of State BJP President Dr. Rajeev Bindal and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, the party will fight the elections with seriousness and a well-planned strategy.
Criticizing the Congress government, Parmar termed its tenure as completely anti-people. He said that none of the ten guarantees promised by Congress before coming to power have been fulfilled on the ground. He alleged that people across villages and cities are frustrated with the policies of the government, and this resentment will be clearly reflected in the election results.
He further said that the Congress government has made life difficult for the common people by increasing water tariffs and imposing multiple taxes and charges. The BJP, he said, will take these anti-people decisions to the forefront in the electoral battle and strongly raise public issues.
Parmar claimed that the Congress party will face a decisive defeat in the upcoming urban local body elections, and the results will lay a strong foundation in favor of the BJP for the 2027 Assembly elections.
