IEC University Hosts Workshop on Financial Literacy and Securities Markets

Baddi, March 18: IEC University organized a one-day workshop on “Gamification: Financial Literacy and Securities Markets” for students of Business Management and Commerce.

Students from B.Com, BBA, MBA, and M.Com actively participated in the session, which was conducted by SEBI SMART-certified trainer Viraj Singal. He explained key concepts of financial literacy and securities markets in a simplified manner, encouraging interactive discussions. Students engaged enthusiastically, raising several relevant questions during the session.

Head of the Department, Dr. Vikas Sheoran, delivered the vote of thanks and highlighted the importance of such workshops in enhancing students’ financial awareness. He also acknowledged the support of Dr. Ravinder Singh Madan, Dean, School of Engineering, for the successful organization of the programme.
