‘Raabta’ Cultural Evening Organised with Grandeur at IEC University

A vibrant cultural evening titled Raabta was organised at IEC University in Atal Shiksha Kunj, where students showcased diverse artistic performances. The event was attended by Chief Guest Ram Kumar Chaudhary, MLA and member of the university’s governing council, who was welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Dr Ashok Puri and university officials with traditional shawl, cap, and mementoes.
Addressing the students, Ram Kumar Chaudhary encouraged them to remain focused on their goals and stay away from substance abuse. The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana.
Students presented a variety of performances including modelling, singing, Haryanvi and Rajasthani dances, semi-classical and contemporary acts, solo and retro dance, giddha, naati, bhangra, and a special performance by NCC cadets. International students from Sudan also presented a cultural dance that captivated the audience.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Ashok Puri said the university remains committed to nurturing artistic talent through such platforms. The event concluded with certificates, medals, and mementoes being awarded to outstanding performers.
