Twice-Weekly Farmers’ Vegetable Market Announced in Mehatpur-Basdehra

Una, Feb 01, 2026: The district administration has announced that the farmers’ vegetable market in Mehatpur-Basdehra will now be organized every Monday and Friday at_tf the old site near the overhead tank. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said the move aims to make it easier for farmers to sell their produce and improve market management. The market will operate from 2 pm to 8 pm, with parking strictly prohibited at the venue to ensure smooth traffic flow. Partial amendments have also been made to existing no-parking and no-vending zone orders to support the new arrangement.
