Shoolini University has once again consolidated its position among the world’s leading institutions, earning a Top 500 global position in multiple disciplines in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026. The THE rankings are regarded as one of the most credible and comprehensive global ranking frameworks.
In the latest rankings, Shoolini University has performed notably well in key disciplines. In Engineering and Life Sciences, the University was placed in the 301–400 global band and ranked 3rd in India (jointly). In Medical and Health Sciences, Shoolini secured a position in the 401–500 global band and 8th in India (jointly).
These rankings highlight the University’s sustained focus on academic excellence, high-impact research, quality teaching and strong industry engagement. The assessment is based on 18 rigorous performance indicators, including teaching, research environment, citation impact, international outlook and industry collaboration, as adopted uniformly by Times Higher Education worldwide.
Founder-Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla said Shoolini University’s Computer Engineering and Biotechnology programmes are now being consistently recognised among the best in Asia in terms of academic quality and research output, reflecting the institution’s growing academic stature.
While Shoolini University had secured a place in the Top 500 bracket last year, the 2026 rankings reflected stronger consolidation and improved national positioning, particularly in Engineering and Life Sciences, where the University strengthened its relative standing among Indian institutions. This progress was driven by higher research output, stronger citation impact, expanded international collaboration, and a steadily growing academic reputation.
Pro Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand credited the performance to focused investments and strategic planning. He said, “Our continued presence in global rankings indicates that Shoolini University is progressing in the right direction. Sustained investments in faculty development, research infrastructure and international partnerships are now translating into visible global recognition.”
Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla emphasised that the rankings mirrored the strong academic culture nurtured on campus. “These results belong to our faculty members, researchers, students and staff, whose collective efforts have positioned Shoolini University as a respected name in global academia. We remain committed to further improving teaching quality, research impact and student outcomes,” he said.
