BJP’s Rise Reflects Strong Leadership Under PM Modi: Suresh Kashyap

Shimla Nov 17: BJP MP and former state president Suresh Kashyap highlighted the remarkable expansion of the Bharatiya Janata Party during a visit to Rohru Assembly constituency as part of the “Sardar Patel 150th Jayanti Padyatra.” Addressing the gathering, Kashyap stated that the BJP has grown into the world’s most powerful political party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that the party’s number of MLAs increased from 1,035 in 2014 to 1,654 in 2025, reflecting massive public trust.

He contrasted this with the steep decline of the Congress Party, pointing out its poor performance in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections and its shrinking national vote share.

Kashyap asserted that the real development of Rohru took place during the Jai Ram Thakur government, citing upgrades in healthcare facilities, new ITI trades, helipad construction, and administrative expansions.

He also praised Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s vision of national unity, stating that Patel’s extraordinary leadership in integrating over 550 princely states laid the foundation for “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
