Himachal Pradesh Wins “People’s First Integration Award” for Digital Governance at DigiLocker National Conference 2025

The Government of Himachal Pradesh has been honored with the prestigious “People’s First Integration Award” at the DigiLocker National Workshop & Conference 2025 for its remarkable efforts in citizen-centric digital services.
The state successfully integrated 51 HimSeva e-services with DigiLocker across all departments, linking them with the state’s unique Him Parivar (Family ID) digital identity system, enabling faster, seamless, and transparent service delivery.
The award was presented by the Secretary (IT), Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Government of India, in the presence of senior officials from NIC and NeGD.
This achievement highlights Himachal Pradesh’s commitment to expanding secure, paperless digital governance and ensuring hassle-free access to government services through accurate beneficiary verification and reduced documentation.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashish Singhmar, Secretary (Digital Technology & Governance Department), Government of Himachal Pradesh, said that the recognition reinforces the state’s dedication to strengthening digital governance and delivering efficient services to every citizen through integrated platforms like DigiLocker and Him Parivar.
