Army Chief Says Forces Followed Principles of Dharamyudh in Operation Sindoor

Chail, October 11: Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi stated that the Indian defence forces adhered to the principles of Dharamyudh during Operation Sindoor, targeting only terrorist hideouts while avoiding civilian and military structures.
Addressing the centenary celebrations of Rashtriya Military School (RMS), Chail, Gen Dwivedi lauded the institution’s century-long contribution to nation-building, discipline, and leadership. He urged cadets to uphold the school’s values and carry forward its legacy with zeal and responsibility.
The celebration began with the inauguration of the Centenary Gate at the world’s highest cricket ground, followed by the release of a Special Postal Cover and the first edition of The Centennial Chronicle. Awards were presented to outstanding cadets, and a plantation drive titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was led by the Army Chief to mark the occasion.
Distinguished dignitaries, including Lt Gen M.K. Katiyar, Maj Gen Prince Duggal, Maj Gen V.K. Bhat, and AVM Gurcharan Singh Bhogal, attended the historic event.
