Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi Stresses Preserving Culture at State-level Sairotsav

Arki, September 17, 2025: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi inaugurated the first cultural evening of the State-level Sairotsav and emphasized the importance of keeping the younger generation connected with their rich cultural heritage. He said fairs and festivals not only showcase traditions but also strengthen social bonds. Highlighting development in Arki under CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s leadership, he mentioned the start of M.A. classes in four subjects at Arki Government College, upcoming Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools, upgraded health facilities including CT scan and ultrasound machines, and plans for a dialysis centre. Awasthi also announced road projects worth ₹7 crore each and enhancement of Arki’s drinking water scheme worth ₹16.5 crore. The evening featured performances by Abhigya Band, Honey Singh, Doni Chauhan, and other local artists.
