Sanjay Awasthi Inaugurates Developmental Exhibitions at Sair Festival

Arki, September 16 – Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi formally inaugurated and visited the developmental exhibitions set up by various departments during the State-level Sair Festival. He urged people to not only enjoy the fair but also gather information about the welfare schemes and projects being implemented by the government and avail their benefits.

Exhibitions were organized by the Departments of Horticulture, Agriculture, Health & Family Welfare, Social Justice & Empowerment, AYUSH, Labour & Employment, Forest, along with Self-Help Groups. The Home Guards also displayed an exhibition on disaster management.

The Health Department organized a Baby Show and conducted free TB check-ups. Various sports competitions including Kabaddi, Badminton, Tug of War (for both men and women), and Volleyball (men) were also held.

Under the Poshan Abhiyan, the Women & Child Development Department conducted Annaprashan for children and performed the traditional baby shower ceremony for pregnant women. Children also presented cultural programmes, adding colour and joy to the celebration.
